Well I really don't know what to say in my second post--introduce myself? Say how my day went? So far as I know,
A Brilliance is Ours is the only one reading this....
Alright everyone, if you're out there, don't be afraid to make comments! Anon. are fine, I have always found a person called Anon to be one of my favorite authors.
Sooo...where I am now. In front of the comp, you guessed that didn't you. But it's unpleasantly early--you can be fooled, here in Oregon near the longest day of the year, into thinking that it's later than it is, in the mornings.
I'm almost seventeen. And yes, I make movies. Just attended the premiere of my latest work, Road to Freedom--a spy thriller set in the 1700s. And am still cleaning up loose ends on that--delivering DVDs of the extended behind-the-scenes.
As to what I did yesterday: commented on the heat when I got up, dealt with the critters, watered the garden [spraying myself in the process], and then I think I had breakfast...I'm not sure if I did or not, that's been happening a lot lately.
Then the rest of the fam. and myself discussed plans for our holiday...Wyoming and Montana. Got all excited about that and went off on a list-making spree...I love lists, I once made one with 100 items on, for a camping trip.
Then it was off to the local community college to register for a CLEP exam tomorrow. CLEPs are rather handy, you study for a test, pass it [hopefully], and get college credit. Anyway, that's what I'm supposed to be doing between now and tomorrow--study.
Home, then my dad and I set off for the Farmers' Market--one of my favorite things to do.
A side note here: in the last week or so, I've been making a special point of trying to recognize at least one person every time I'm in town. Anyone--clerk at the natural foods store [
always works], a passerby, etc. If I'm really lucky it's a friend from folk dance or movie or whatnot. Yesterday at the market I was very successful--recognized somebody I'd only seen once before but had corresponded with my email regarding movie business, and somebody else who I'm pretty sure was at the Tax Day Tea Party in April. Always so encouraging to see Ron Paul supporters my age!
After that, my long-suffering dad drove me to a few places around town to drop off the DVDs I mentioned above. Was only successful in contacting a few people.
Home. My mom was on the phone. With my usual ESP skills [lol], I immediately diagnosed who was on the phone. But that's beside the point. Anyway, when Mum got off, she proceeded to tell us how she had completely failed to recognize one of my friends who had called regarding goat clippers. "Joe? Joe who?" she related. Now I've known this guy since I was ten, and she would ordinarily have recognized him easily, but you see we've had so many people call us recently about remodeling and such, and then evidently there had been a lot of phone calls yesterday afternoon. She and I both fell about in fits of laughter at intervals through the rest of the evening.
Life can get pretty weird around our house sometimes.
